Day 9/30: lil kunj and The MiuMiu London.

I was meant to post this earlier but nevermind.

From November 27th through to November 29th, The Miumiu-London, a private women’s club, made its debut in the Café Royal on Regent Street, London. The Café Royal has been restored to it’s former glory and on this occasion opened for the first time and became the central meeting point for Miu Miu members. The lucky folks who were invited had the opportunity to participate in a variety of activities celebrating various aspects of Miu Miu femininity.

Members and their guests had exclusive access to a new shopping experience, the opportunity to preview and purchase the Resort and Spring / Summer 2013 collections. Vivienne Westwood and Stephen Jones did special collaborations, creating limited edition products for the occasion, with all proceeds from the sale of these items being donated to Cool Earth and Macmillan Cancer Support.

The aspects that I think would have been the most delightful and entertaining would have been the restaurant, which hosted three world-renowned chefs: Andrew Turner, April Bloomfield and Margot Henderson all of whom for one night offered a personalized menu. How tasty would those menus have been?! The club lounge, cocktail bar and wide terrace hosted music by international including DJ’s Misty Rabbit and others so that attendees could indulge in a cheeky beverage or two.

The MiuMiu-London celebrated parts of femininity including fashion, art, culture, cuisine, entertainment and ideas in a temporary space designed for shopping, sharing and discovery.

The next MiuMiu-City will be unveiled shortly.

If only I could score an invite!
