Today I decided to embark on the challenge of planning a surprise party for my parent’s wedding anniversary! So the anniversary in question isn’t till end of June next year, but it’s the big GOLD one!! Yep, they’ve put up with each other for 50 years. It’s a massive milestone to reach in any marriage, so I thought it’ll be nice to surprise them with a party.
I don’t know a thing about party planning, but I’ve started looking and researching the most important aspect of it, the cake! Screw the venue, the date, the guests, they need a decent cake! Bad cake can spoil a decent party! Anyway here’s a pretty one that I found online!
Oh and if anyone has any ideas on how to plan a party, send them my way!
Today is day 30 of my 30 day blogging challenge. I thought this post would be one of reflection of the past 30 days. To be honest I didn’t think I would be able to complete the challenge. There have been a few hitches and distractions along the way, such as being abroad for 10 days followed by not having internet access for a couple of days followed by Christmas (yeah I’m only human and I reckon most people would get distracted by those things!). But I feel the main thing is that I’ve managed to write up 30 posts (and caught up with the few missed days). At times I have struggled to think of what to blog about despite there being infinite amount of interesting topics, I struggled to produce posts that reflected the best of my abilities, but I’m glad I completed the task. I feel more confident of applying the ethos that I’ve learnt from this challenge to other aspects of my life, which is definitely good progress and I feel that in the long run it will make me a more interesting person. Finally I’m glad that by having to post every day it challenged me to post about topics that I never thought I would be writing about. I’ve had a browse of my posts and see that I managed to post about fashion, travel, photography, talk about myself and my own issues including mental health, I’ve included inspirational and interesting quotes and have included my own photos including one outfit post.
So here’s to the end of my first 30 day challenge, coincidentally to my 100th post on here and to hopefully the start of more regular, continuous and interesting blogging!

Today I experienced a slight lapse of self-control during some online window-shopping. So basically window-shopping ended up turning into proper spending money type shopping. I’m such a cheapo at times and am totally in LOVE with sale shopping, you get so much more for your money. Why buy one dress when you can buy four […]
This was a bit of a cop out post, but at Christmas, it’s a big deal! I just didn’t know how to react other than sit and sulk.
Disaster strikes in lil kunj’s household, our oven broke, and that means no Christmas dinner😦
