Day 18/30: Planning a surprise party

Today I decided to embark on the challenge of planning a surprise party for my parent’s wedding anniversary! So the anniversary in question isn’t till end of June next year, but it’s the big GOLD one!! Yep, they’ve put up with each other for 50 years. It’s a massive milestone to reach in any marriage, so I thought it’ll be nice to surprise them with a party.

I don’t know a thing about party planning, but I’ve started looking and researching the most important aspect of it, the cake! Screw the venue, the date, the guests, they need a decent cake! Bad cake can spoil a decent party! Anyway here’s a pretty one that I found online!

Oh and if anyone has any ideas on how to plan a party, send them my way!

Day 17/30: So guilty of this…

I signed up to Pinterest last night. I actually have no idea what to do with it or what it’s for, but this picture came up on my Pinterest newsfeed equivalent. So my life may not be a mess, but there have been times when I’ve thought I’ve cocked things up (a certain exam at uni springs to mind) and then I’ve been guilty of consoling myself thinking “ah well at least my dress/shoes/outfit/false eyelashes” are awesome.

Day 12/30: Great Buddha Statue, Bodh Gaya

Not going to say much in this post. Just a handful of pictures of the Great Buddha Statue in Bodh Gaya, Bihar. Enjoy 🙂

Day 9/30: Seriously H&M?! £199.99??!!!

H&M Jacket

I saw this the other day whilst I was browsing online on H&M. I like it, it’s unique, but the £199.99 price tag for H&M?! It’s not even part of on of their designer collaborations. Could you really justify spending £199.99 on bog standard H&M? It just seems slightly excessive to me. Luckily I was having a browse at some of the blogs I follow and luckily a few others share a similar sentiment regarding the price.

Anyway that’s all from me for now. It’s bedtime. I shall carry on bombarding you all tomorrow 😉

Day 7/30: Ka-Boom!

This was a little post that I was supposed to post up a while ago before I went to India.  View Art Gallery Bristol was host to a funky pop art exhibition earlier this year, aptly named Ka-Boom. The exhibition drew on creativity from the comic book universe, bringing together an explosive show of dynamic […]
